Lately I have been on such a beauty kick and have been buying up all the makeup I can find. I have no idea where this is coming from, but I am having such a fun time experimenting!
While I was in medical school I usually just shopped at the drug store for my makeup but now that I can afford higher end products I have been trying out different brands and products. I honestly have to say that most of the drug store products mentioned here are just as good as the higher end ones, I only notice a slight difference in the quality. The one that stands out the most for me is the foundation. I saw a review from Jaclyn Hill on YouTube and she raved about the Dior Forever Foundation so much that I had to try it out. Boy, is it amazing! It’s kind of pricey ($50) but so worth it! My skin looks flawless when I wear it.
I try to find a balance with the reasonable versus expensive make up products and usually wear my drug store products to work during the week and save the higher end products for the weekend and special events. But overall, all of these products here are tried and true and I love them all.
